Public benches are a little piece of wonder. In order to exist, someone, somewhere, decided that this was a good place to sit and view the world, or a much needed rest spot on a journey through it.

They also provide an important service for the elderly, as having somewhere to sit and rest along the way helps maintain independence for longer getting exercise and access to outdoors and public services, leading to improved quality of life and fewer expenses for the individual and the community as a whole.

In other words, a small rest can be a big thing!
