From Gardens to Grime
During a decade running an estate gardening company in Oxfordshire, days were spent meticulously crafting beautiful green spaces—carefully trimming hedges, planting vibrant flower beds, and mowing pristine lawns. But there was always one part of the job that stood out: no matter how lush and perfectly maintained a garden was, something about it always felt incomplete if the hard surfaces weren’t clean.
A moss-covered patio or a grimy driveway would steal the spotlight and detract from the overall look of the space. It was frustrating to have the results of hard work tarnished by unsightly areas that could be improved so simply.
That realization stuck with me. Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to jet washing—the satisfaction of blasting away grime and watching dull, neglected surfaces transform into clean, bright ones. It wasn’t long before I started looking forward to those jet-washing jobs the most.
By 2024, we decided it was time for a change. Inspired by a trip with a friend, we laid out a plan to pack up our life in Oxfordshire and move to beautiful North Devon, and after nearly a decade of jet washing as part of our gardening business, we left behind the hedge trimmers and pruning shears to focus entirely on cleaning hard surfaces. It was a bold move, but it felt like the right one. Nestled among its rolling hills and stunning coastline, we set out to create a business that reflected our commitment to excellence and our passion for transforming outdoor spaces.
